Status: Soon. The Soundtrack controls are implemented in the editor; public access is pending. Automatic tools depend on the media and configured services.
Bring in the audio you own
- Open Audio → Soundtrack → Audio sources. Pick Voice-over for speech or Background music for a music file; each uses an audio file chooser. Record voice-over routes to the Media recording area when browser recording is supported.
- Place or select the Voice or Music lane. Use Volume & audio fades on an audio item or the corresponding Soundtrack controls to set gain and fade in/out. The clip action Fade in & out · 0.5s is a quick starting point, and Remove audio fades resets it.
- Play an opening, a loud section and the ending. Watch for clipping. The audio sources panel exposes waveform, level and clipping analysis along with cleanup, speech enhancement, EQ and normalization controls for added audio.
Keep dialogue clear
In Project mix, adjust Video sound volume if footage carries its own audio. Enable automatic ducking to lower music under voice, then tune the ducked music level, attack and release by listening. Track mute and solo help isolate a problem. Clip volume keyframes can shape an individual passage.
Check the beat without changing the story
The music tools offer beat detection and Align selected clip to nearest beat. Use it only when the new timing preserves the intended cut. Recheck the whole transition after alignment.
Does a still image have video sound?
No. Image layers have no source audio; use Voice or Music lanes for sound.
Why can I not hear an uploaded file?
Check the clip's placement and gain, track mute or solo state, and whether the file can be decoded in the browser. Play from a time that overlaps the audio item.
