Status: Soon. MP4 export is built, but released project limits and customer access still need acceptance. Treat the controls below as a preview of the V1 workflow.
Check the sequence first
Play from beginning to end. Inspect cut points, titles, caption timing, aspect ratio and audio. In Settings → Canvas, choose Fill frame or Fit entire media. For a fixed-length deliverable, inspect the Duration setting so the timeline does not end early or leave unintended blank time.
Choose output settings
- Open Settings → Export. Choose Output resolution from 480p, 720p, 1080p, 1440p or 2160p, subject to the render path and source quality. A 4K setting cannot restore detail absent from source files.
- Choose Encoding quality: High quality favors detail and a larger file; Balanced favors a smaller file and faster encode.
- A video sequence renders MP4. An image-only output may offer Image format choices PNG, JPEG or WebP. JPEG is disabled when chroma transparency is active.
- Select Render & export, wait for the result, then choose Download file. Some long exports use a background queue; a completed queue output may have a limited download window. Keep a local copy.
Deliver captions and attribution
In the Captions lane, download SRT or VTT if you need a subtitle sidecar. If the result uses attributed media and the interface offers it, choose Download media credits and keep the text with the deliverable. Save a cloud version before handing a project to another editor.
The editor may limit project length and clip count. Check the limits shown in your workspace before committing to a long sequence; high-resolution exports can take longer.
Why is Render & export disabled?
The timeline must contain valid media. A failed render plan or unreviewed second-language caption can also block export. See Troubleshooting.
Can I export an image instead of an MP4?
The image-only export path offers PNG, JPEG and WebP. For a timed video sequence, use MP4.
